Aderholt", "A000055", "aderholt.house.gov", "aderholt", "https://aderholt.house.gov/media-center/press-releases", "scraper", "Washington, D.C. \u2013 Congressman Robert Aderholt (AL-04) today announced that the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) has approved a grant of $249,750 to the City of Guin for the Sewer Package Plant Rehabilitation Project.\n\n\u201cI\u2019m proud to announce this important investment in Guin\u2019s infrastructure,\u201d said Aderholt. \u201cReliable sewer systems are critical to protecting public health, supporting economic development, and ensuring that our communities can continue to grow. This project will help modernize an aging facility, prevent future system failures, and ensure that Guin\u2019s residents and businesses have dependable wastewater services for years to come.\u201d\n\nThe project will rehabilitate an existing sewer package plant to maintain wastewater service, ensure regulatory compliance, and support future development. Planned work includes installation of a temporary processing plant, removal of outdated components, drainage, cleaning, sandblasting, and painting, as well as the installation of new pumps, blowers, air piping, diffusers, control boxes, and related equipment.
