She was 88, and I thank God I had her as long as I did.\nI was with her a couple of days last week and before I left her to go out of town Thursday morning, I told her I loved her and she told me that she loved me.\nShe was the best mom a son could possibly have.\nEven\nthough she was 88, I would have liked to have had her much, much longer. To be honest, it is especially tough, as I am an only child, and lost my dad three years ago. Thankfully, I have the strong arm of the Lord Jesus to cling to.\nIt is also comforting to know she had a faith in Christ Jesus and she is reunited with my dad, whom she loved so much.\nShe was quite a lady, and very proper, and always wanted to do things first class. She, along with my dad, were my biggest cheerleaders.\nI look forward to seeing both of them again.\nI love you Mom!\nRecently I was reminded of the song: \"He is mine I am His\" I want to share the words as it has given me great encouragement.
