Aderholt", "A000055", "aderholt.house.gov", "aderholt", "https://aderholt.house.gov/media-center/press-releases", "scraper", "WASHINGTON, D.C. \u2013 Today, Congressman Robert Aderholt (AL-04) released the following statement on the new Rural Hospital Provider Assistance Program (RHPAP) established through the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).\n\n\u201cAs Chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee overseeing health funding, I was proud to secure and advance the Rural Hospital Provider Assistance Program through the Fiscal Year 2026 Consolidated Appropriations Act,\u201d said Congressman Robert Aderholt. \u201cThis initiative reflects a deliberate commitment to ensuring our rural hospitals have the resources they need to survive and serve their communities. Through this program, eligible hospitals will receive direct financial assistance to help maintain and strengthen essential healthcare services.\u201d\n\nAlmost 30 rural hospitals in Alabama are eligible to apply for the grant, five of which are in Alabama\u2019s Fourth Congressional District: Fayette, Lakeland, Marion Regional, Northwest, and Russellville.
