This immediate relief will save jobs, address current challenges, and allow Nevada\u2019s airports to maintain operations.\u201d\n\nBackground:\n\nA total of $10 billion in federal aid was included in the CARES Act for airports experiencing severe economic disruption caused by coronavirus.\n\nUnder this new CARES Act Airport Program:\n\nPrimary commercial service airports, with more than 10,000 annual passenger boardings, will receive additional funds based on the number of annual boardings, in a similar way to how they currently receive Airport Improvement Program (AIP) entitlement funds.\n\nAll commercial service airports will receive funds based on the number of passengers that board aircraft there, the amount of debt an airport has, and the amount of money the airport has in reserve.\n\nGeneral aviation airports will receive funds based on their airport categories, such as National, Regional, Local, Basic, and Unclassified.", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-06-28T00:02:07Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://amodei.house.gov/news-releases/amodei-nevada-airports-receive-more-230-million-cares-act-funding"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.9246082045137882, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
