Mark Amodei (NV-2) and one by Rep. Steven Horsford (NV-4) -- today passed the House Natural Resources Committee by unanimous consent. The bipartisan support clears the way for the legislation to be brought to the House floor in September as a non-controversial suspension bill.\n\nThe compromise agreement was made possible after adjustments to the legislation were made to a version passed in January.\n\n\u201cThese are community-driven lands measures that will create jobs without cost to the federal taxpayer,\u201d said Amodei. \u201cFor the second time in two years, the eyes of Northern Nevada turn to the Senate.\u201d\n\n\u201cWorking to create jobs and strengthen the middle class has been my number one priority in Congress,\u201d said Horsford. \u201cToday, Democrats and Republicans unanimously moved a legislative package forward that will grow Nevada\u2019s economy.
