From the mass shooting at Brown University to the targeted attack at Lynch Arena, they\u2019ve helped victims and families for more than two decades. I\u2019m proud to bring home $450,000 in federal funding to expand this proven model, so more Rhode Islanders get the support they need when it matters most.\u201d\n\n\u201cFSRI\u2019s Police GO TEAM program does the noble work of helping families \u2013 especially kids \u2013 recover from experiencing violent crime,\u201d said Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI). \u201cThanks to an investment secured by Congressman Amo, FSRI will be able to expand the GO TEAM program to supplement the work of police officers in three more communities.\u201d\n\n\u201cThe Barrington Police Department is incredibly grateful to Congressman Amo for securing this federal funding,\u201d said Barrington Chief of Police Colonel Michael E.
