Congressman Amo voted in favor of both measures that passed the House of Representatives.\n\nIn his remarks, he also encouraged an urgent and collective response to the rise in antisemitism and Islamophobia around the country. Congressman Amo announced today that he will serve as a member of two important subcommittees as a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. Congressman Amo was appointed to the Subcommittee on Europe and Subcommittee on Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia. Both Subcommittees counted former Congressman David Cicilline (RI-01) as a member.\n\n\u201cToday, I am honored to announce that I will join the Subcommittee on Europe and Subcommittee on Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.
