Bacon. \u201cAs they begin their journey toward military service, I offer my heartfelt congratulations to them, as well as their parents, family, and mentors who have helped them reach this milestone. Having spent nearly 30 years in the Air Force alongside dedicated Americans who defend our freedom, I am truly inspired to see this generation step forward with patriotism and devotion to America in applying to these academies. This is one of the most important responsibilities I have as a Congressman and one of the most rewarding aspects of the job.
