Rep. Becca Balint (VT-AL) released the following statement:\n\n\u201cIt\u2019s been more than a year and three months since families, small businesses, and seniors in the Montpelier area have had a full range of postal services and a fully functioning post office. A result of constant pressure and activism from our communities, postal workers, and local, state, and federal leaders, postal services will once again be restored in the Montpelier community.\n\n\u201cPostmaster General DeJoy failed our state\u2019s capital by stalling restoration and leaving the community without answers for months, adding real hardships to a community already wrecked by flood damage.
