Entries from Alabama\u2019s First District showcased a wide range of talent, imagination, and technical skill, reflecting the depth of young artists in the region.\n\n\u201cThis competition is one of my favorite traditions in Congress because it shines a light on the incredible talent we have right here at home,\u201d said Rep. Barry Moore. \u201cThese students represent the very best of Alabama\u2019s creativity and work ethic. This is a tremendous honor for Anabelle, our overall first place winner, who will have her artwork displayed in our nation\u2019s Capitol, where millions of visitors will have the chance to see her painting over the next year.
