The Protecting American Research and Talent Act prohibits federal funding from going to universities or colleges for the purposes of conducting fundamental research in collaboration with foreign entities tied to adversarial governments or their militaries. Earlier this month, the House passed Barr\u2019s Stop Chinese Fentanyl Act, which holds the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates accountable for fueling America\u2019s fentanyl crisis.\n\n###", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-06T19:10:29Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://barr.house.gov/press-releases?ID=8F63D917-408D-4CB6-B8E5-F29A73BDEB21"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.7415991276502609, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
