Thompson (D-MS) is pleased to announce that the U.S. Department of the Treasury\u2019s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) has awarded $408.2 million in Financial Assistance (FA) to 357 Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) nationwide through the fiscal year 2024 (FY 2024) funding round. These funds will support financial services and products aimed at improving access to financial resources for low-income and underserved communities across the country.\n\nIn Mississippi\u2019s Second Congressional District, several local institutions have been selected to receive awards under the CDFI Program.
