Local Emergency Managers also have those applications. The applications need to be turned in to MEMA before April 1, 2020. That paperwork is to be submitted to MEMA State Coordinating Officer, Todd DeMuth at tdemuth@mema.ms.gov.\n\nHousing\n\nFederal Housing Administration (FHA) has issued a Suspension on Foreclosures and Evictions Amid COVID-19 for people facing foreclosures and evictions on single-family homes for 60- days. See Attachment.\n\nUtility Services Cutoffs\n\nGovernor Tate Reeves signed an order on March 14, 2020 declaring a State of Emergency which impacts utility services. And the MS Public Service Commission issued a March 15, 2020 News Release suspending disconnection on certain utility services in response to COVID-19. Input from the MS Attorney General Office was garnered for this decision. And the press release was sent to the MS Municipal League to be disseminated to municipalities. If it is not a life-threatening situation, tell citizens to call their healthcare provider or Medicaid to find out if telehealth is an option specific to them.
