Congressman Bentz\u2019s Service Academy Nomination Board\u2014retired and active-duty military officers who interview potential candidates for selection by the service academies\u2014 recommended each student based on academic performance, extracurricular involvement, and character.\n\n\"It is an honor to be a part of a process that supports young leaders from Oregon\u2019s Second Congressional District.
