The lack of accountability and culture of misconduct in federal offices can no longer be tolerated. Leading by example matters—that is why I have already required every member of my staff to take part in anti-harassment and anti-discrimination training, and why I voted in favor of making this training a requirement for all Congressional offices.
“The halls of Congress must be a safe environment for all Members and their staff. While today’s vote is a step in the right direction, the job is not complete. Accountability and transparency measures must be put in place to ensure tax-payer money is never used to cover up bad choices made by a Member of Congress or their staff. I look forward to working towards these next steps with my colleagues from both sides of the aisle.”

      f
      t
      #
      e", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at
url
https://bergman.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=138
