In FY22, ICE\u2019s Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) moved to dismiss or administratively close nearly 92,000 immigration removal cases. In his letter, Congressman Biggs demands answers from Mayorkas regarding the concerning number of dismissals by OPLA.\n\n\u201cSecretary Mayorkas, through the dismissal of removal cases, has once again shown the American people that he is unfit to carry out the responsibilities of his office. Every day that Mayorkas remains in office, America becomes less safe.
