Bishop, Jr. (GA-02), announced that the Macon-Bibb County Economic Opportunity Council (EOC), Inc. will receive $4,278,717 through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Head Start grant program. The grant will go towards the Macon-Bibb EOC\u2019s Head Start program, which promotes education, school readiness, and health and social services for low-income families.\n\n\u201cI am pleased to announce these funds that will support the continued work that the Macon-Bibb EOC is doing through the Head Start Programs for families in Middle Georgia.
