Here is a brief timeline of Congressional Republican\u2019s oversight of the Feeding our Future fraud scheme.\n\nSeptember 20, 2022: The Biden-Harris Department of Justice announced federal criminal charges against 47 defendants for their alleged roles in a $250 million fraud scheme that exploited a federally funded child nutrition program during the COVID-19 pandemic.\n\nSeptember 30, 2022: Congressional Republicans sent a letter to the USDA for information about the Feeding our Future fraud scheme.\n\nDecember 15, 2022: USDA provided a comprehensive response to Congressional Republicans request for information.\n\nJuly 20, 2023: Congressional Republicans sent a follow up letter to the USDA for more information about the Feeding our Future fraud scheme.\n\nNovember 14, 2023: Congressional Republicans sent a letter to Minnesota Department of Education requesting information about the Feeding our Future fraud scheme.\n\nJune 7, 2024: The Biden-Harris Administration Department of Justice announced five individuals were convicted by a federal jury for their roles in Feeding our Future fraud scheme.
