The historic investments will lower costs for families, secure good-paying jobs for American workers, and set a strong foundation of America's children.\n\n\"The Build Back Better Act is a once-in-a-generation investment in the foundations of middle-class prosperity: education, child care, and more,\" said Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici. \"This lifechanging legislation will support children throughout their lives, and create better opportunities for workers. I am thrilled that the Build Back Better Act passed the Education and Labor Committee, and will continue advocating for it to become law. It will help to our constituents \u2013 here in Oregon and across the county \u2013 achieve a brighter, more equitable future,\"said Rep. Bonamici.\n\n\"Our schools and communities have suffered greatly in the past 18 months: missed education, economic hardship and constant health threats. The Build Back Better Act is a significant down payment and long overdue investment in America's families, children and the future.
