Mike Bost (R-IL) voted today for the National Defense Authorization Act, legislation that fully funds military priorities for the upcoming fiscal year and provides servicemembers a 5.2% pay raise. The bill also targets the Biden administration\u2019s efforts to inject divisive social policy into the military, restricting funds from being used for abortion services, to teach Critical Race Theory, or to expand gender identity and climate change initiatives.\n\n\u201cCongress has no greater responsibility than providing for the national defense and ensuring our brave men and women in uniform have the resources and support they deserve,\u201d said Bost. \u201cThe Biden administration has sacrificed recruitment and readiness for social justice campaigns and virtue signaling.
