The declaration covers Marion County and the adjacent counties of Clay, Clinton, Jefferson, Washington, and Wayne, which are eligible for both physical damage loans and Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs).\n\n!\n\n\u201cOur region was hit hard by these storms, and I\u2019ve heard directly from folks who are struggling to recover,\u201d said Bost. \u201cThese disaster loans will help families and small businesses repair, rebuild, and get back on their feet. I urge everyone who was affected to look into this assistance and apply as soon as possible.\u201d\n\n!\n\nSmall businesses and private nonprofits may apply for up to $2 million in physical disaster loans to replace damaged real estate, equipment, and inventory. Homeowners can apply for up to $500,000 to repair or replace their primary residence, and homeowners or renters can apply for up to $100,000 to recover personal property like furniture, vehicles, and appliances. Applicants may also be eligible for a loan increase of up to 20% of their verified physical damages for future mitigation upgrades \u2013 like safe rooms or wind-resistant garage doors. The deadline to apply for physical damage is July 14, 2025; for economic injury, February 17, 2026.
