The community projects, spanning Clinton, Crawford, Edwards, Monroe, Randolph, St. Clair, and Union counties, will improve water safety, sanitation, public safety, and emergency communications.\n\n\u201cThis spending package provides the certainty needed to unleash America\u2019s energy potential, invest in our military, and modernize our aging infrastructure,\u201d said Bost. \u201cI\u2019m proud to say, it\u2019s an impact that will be felt across Southern Illinois. I worked with local leaders on key priorities to strengthen the safety of our water systems and the effectiveness of emergency response services. All told, we\u2019ve delivered nearly $9 million dollars to make our communities safer and healthier, and that makes a big difference for small communities.\u201d\n\nThis funding package includes targeted investments secured by Rep.
