This eForm submission process was launched in 2014, however, ATF recently limited third-party processors' ability to assist American taxpayers in gun-purchase processing, despite prior congressional recommendations to streamline this process.\n\nAlthough the ATF previously acknowledged the important contributions of third-party processors and assured collaboration on the next iteration of the eForms system, recent restrictions do not align with this recognition. Rep. Ken Buck insists that this is an infringement on Second Amendment rights due to the unnecessary overcomplication it causes for rightful firearm ownership. He and his colleaguesare urging the DOJ toissue guidance clarifying how third-party processors can continue assisting taxpayers in completing the NFA eForms submission process.\n\nCongressman Ken Buck (R-Colo.) said:\n\nWe need to ensure this process allows Americans to fully exercise their Second Amendment rights.
