Both Senators Jon Ossoff (D-GA) and Raphael Warnock (D-GA) voted against this funding.\n\n\u201cTybee Island\u2019s current fire station does not meet the needs of the city\u2019s world-class firefighters, EMS providers, and marine rescuers. This necessary funding will make Tybee Island safer and ensure that those charged with protecting our community have the tools they need to do so effectively,\u201d said Rep.
