Today, U.S. Representative Ted Budd (NC-13) announced that the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has awarded the City of Salisbury, NC a $480,000 grant to improve the city's outdated public buses.\r\nRep. Budd secured the funding through the FTA Buses and Bus Facilities Program.  \r\n\r\nRep. Budd said in a statement:\r\nI'm thrilled that the FTA awarded these funds to Salisbury. This grant will go a long way to improve public safety and allow the city to modernize its fleet of vehicles.
