Ted Budd (R-NC), along with Reps. Denny Heck, Lee Zeldin, Brad Sherman, Steve Stivers, Bill Foster, William Timmons IV, and Madeleine Dean sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin to continue the United States' opposition to the International Capital Standard.  \r\n\r\nRead the letter HERE.\r\n\r\nRep. Budd said in a separate statement:\r\nThe American version of state-based insurance regulation has proven to be adaptable, accessible, and effective because each state is allowed to adopt laws and regulations tailored to the unique needs of its consumers. That's why we must continue to push back against the one-size fits all International Capital Standard.
