Ted Budd (R-NC) released the following statement after signing an Amicus Brief supporting Texas's election integrity lawsuit at the Supreme Court:\"Millions of Americans do not have faith in the November election. One of the best ways to air out the legitimate concerns over voter fraud, machine irregularities, and mail-in ballots is at the Supreme Court. The Constitution gives authority over elections to the state legislatures. In four states, non-legislative officials overstepped their authority and removed election safeguards. That's why the Supreme Court should hear the Texas case.\"  \r\n    \r\n  \r\n  \r\n  \r\n    \r\n      f \r\n      t \r\n      #\r\n      e", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://budd.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=992"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.4860741794109344, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
