Burchett.\n\nRep. Burchett\u2019s proposed rules would:\n\nRequire House bill titles to accurately describe the bill\u2019s content (modeled after the Tennessee legislature\u2019s \u201ccaption\u201d rule)\n\nRequire the estimated cost of each bill to be made publicly available before it is brought to the House floor for a vote\n\nRequire the House to vote on each bill individually\n\nProhibit procedural bills from including unrelated legislation\n\nProhibit bills from being brought to the House floor for a vote without going through the appropriate committee first\n\nProhibit bills from undergoing substantial last-minute changes before being brought to the House floor for a vote", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-08T03:24:37Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://burchett.house.gov/media/press-releases/congressman-burchett-proposes-new-rules-increase-house-transparency-118th"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.9529560338705778, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
