I am thankful that USDA has approved this latest round of assistance, and I encourage residents of qualifying counties to check on their eligibility and apply if eligible.\nThe online pre-screening form for disaster food assistance for non-SNAP households affected by Hurricane Sally in Baldwin and Escambia counties can be accessed from 6:oo am  7:00 pm through Friday, October 9. Mobile County residents will be able to access the pre-screening form beginning on Tuesday, October 13.\nDHR will determine eligibility based on a household's income, resources, disaster-related expenses, and other circumstances.
