Thompson)\n\nMia Patton (Iolani)\n\nKatherine Philpott (Hawai\u2019i Prep Academy; resident 1st District)\n\nCamryn Smith (Radford)\n\nUnited States Merchant Marine Academy\n\nJoseph Barroga (Moanalua)\n\nBoris Dimitrov (Radford)\n\nAvery Morano (St. Louis)\n\nThomas Pak (Aiea)\n\nBlayne Shiraki (Punahou)\n\nFor the Class of 2024, Case selected 35 applicants from five private schools, nine public schools, and one charter school.\n\nMembers of Congress are authorized by law to nominate candidates to the four United States Service Academies \u2013 the Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland; the Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado; the Military Academy at West Point, New York; and the Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York.\n\nThe Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut does not require a congressional nomination for appointment.\n\nAcceptance of an academy appointment requires at least a nine-year service obligation, including four years at an academy and at least five years of active duty service.
