{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["https://case.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=819", "Congressman Case Accepting Submissions For 2022 Congressional Art Competition", "2022-03-22", "2022", "2022-03", "Democrat", "House", "HI", "Ed Case", "C001055", "case.house.gov", "case", "https://case.house.gov/news/documentquery.aspx?DocumentTypeID=27&Page=21", "scraper", "(Honolulu, HI) \u2013 Congressman Ed Case (HI-01) announced today that he is now accepting submissions for his 2022 Congressional Art Competition.\n\n\u201cEach spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives,\u201d said Case. \u201cThe Artistic Discovery Contest is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent in the nation, including my First Congressional District here in Hawai\u2018i.\u201d\n\nThe competition is open to all high school students in the District (Honolulu from Makapu\u2018u to Mililani and Ko \u2018Olina).\n\n\u201cThe winning artwork of my district\u2019s competition will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol alongside the winning artwork from many other Congressional districts throughout the country,\u201d said Case. \u201cThe second and third place artwork for the 1st Congressional District will be displayed in my district office in downtown Honolulu and my congressional office at the Capitol in Washington, DC.\u201d\n\nCase\u2019s District office is now accepting submissions for the 2022 Congressional Art Competition. All current rules, requirements, and submission guidelines can be found at: https://case.house.gov/forms/submitartwork/.\n\nFor students to submit an art piece, a TYPED copy of the 2022 Student Information and Release Form, signed by the teacher, a parent or guardian, and the student, must be securely attached to the back of the artwork to certify the originality of the piece. Interested students can drop off or ship their artwork at Case\u2019s District Office at 1003 Bishop Street, Suite 1110, 96813. If there are any questions, call the District office at (808) 650-6688.\n\nBelow are some important dates:\n\n\u00b7 April 4-22, 2022 \u2013 District office accepts drop off entries from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.\n\n\u00b7 April 22, 2022 \u2013 Deadline to submit artwork to be considered for the competition. Works submitted in-person must arrive in the District office by 4:30 p.m. Shipped artwork must be postmarked by April 22, 2022.\n\n\u00b7 May 2022 \u2013 In-person art exhibition, judging and awards ceremony.
