I am grateful for the steadfast leadership of President Biden, Secretary of State Blinken, and Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield, who have been unwavering in their commitment to this international effort.\n\nI have consistently advocated for a multinational security mission for over a year, as this remains the most immediate solution to restore order. It is also firmly in line with Haitian self-determination, as the vast majority of Haitians support a multinational force to assist the Haitian National Police.\n\nIn addition, this mission must lay the groundwork for a competent transitional government \u2014 one that does not include Prime Minister Ariel Henry \u2014 to ensure that Haiti can return to a sense of normalcy. The security mission marks an important first step, but as the Biden Administration has made clear, it is not a substitute for progress to address the ongoing political crisis in Haiti.", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-08T00:49:26Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://cherfilus-mccormick.house.gov/media/press-releases/congresswoman-sheila-cherfilus-mccormick-applauds-adoption-unsc-resolution"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.67103111743927, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
