Congressman Ciscomani is the only member of Arizona\u2019s congressional delegation serving on the House or Senate Appropriations Committee.\n\nCiscomani\u2019s continued advocacy to Southern Arizona was applauded by local Oro Valley leaders.\n\n\"The Oro Valley Police Department and the Town of Oro Valley are grateful to Congressman Ciscomani for his continued support of our public safety priorities,\" said Oro Valley Police Chief Kara Riley. \"Investments such as this strengthen not only a single agency, but the entire region serving residents across Southern Arizona by ensuring our officers have the modern technology and equipment necessary to protect our community.\"\n\n\"This funding is a big step forward to complete the new Oro Valley Police Headquarters and addresses a long-standing public safety need of our community,\" said Oro Valley Town Manager Jeff Wilkins. \"Congressman Ciscomani\u2019s leadership is instrumental in securing the funding, and without his support, Oro Valley would not likely receive this much-needed funding.
