Both are critical economic assets for Southwest Louisiana. Channel navigation has been greatly restricted due to several sunken barges that are obstructing safe passage. We\u2019re working closely with the Port, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the United States Navy\u2019s salvage experts to clear those obstacles and reopen the channel to normal commercial activity.
