The grant will cover management costs related to the parish\u2019s utilization of FEMA public assistance programs.\n\nThis grant brings the total amount of federal money provided to Louisiana for Hurricanes Laura and Delta disaster recovery to over $1.29 billion.\n\nCongressman Higgins issued the following statement:\n\n\u201cThese funds are part of well over $1 billion in federal disaster assistance that has been provided in response to Hurricanes Laura and Delta. My office will continue to push for additional long-term recovery resources at the federal level.
