We must immediately begin the work of restoring America,\u201d said Congressman Higgins. \u201cDemocrats have, under one-party rule, forced extensive injury upon America. With a new majority, Republicans must take decisive action in the appropriations process to defund and remove Democrats\u2019 unrestrained tax and spending policies.\u201d\n\nIn the letter, the House Freedom Caucus outlines three asks for Republican Leadership ahead of the September 30 spending deadline:\n\nReject a lame duck omnibus and instead pass a CR that freezes spending through year\u2019s end.
