{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["https://clayhiggins.house.gov/2022/12/21/higgins-announces-additional-13m-hurricane-laura-recovery-efforts/", "Higgins Announces Additional $1.3M for Hurricane Laura Recovery Efforts", "2022-12-21", "2022", "2022-12", "Republican", "House", "LA", "Clay Higgins", "H001077", "clayhiggins.house.gov", "clayhiggins", "https://clayhiggins.house.gov/category/press-releases/", "scraper", "WASHINGTON, D.C. \u2013 Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) announced today that FEMA is awarding an additional $1,348,742.70 in Public Assistance reimbursements for hurricane recovery efforts in Southwest Louisiana.\n\nThe funding is made available through the major disaster declaration for Hurricane Laura (DR-4559-LA), which Congressman Higgins supported.\n\nThe reimbursement includes $1,348,742.70 to the West Calcasieu Airport Managing Board for the replacement of the Southland Field Big Bulk Community Hangar B facility as a result of Hurricane Laura. The reimbursement is made at a 90% federal cost-share and authorized under Section 428 of the Robert T. Stafford Act.\n\nMuch of our official Congressional work to advance recovery projects occurs behind the scenes. Funding finalization and the associated formal announcement of funding are the result of constant efforts over many months with FEMA and state and local stakeholders. All funding will be delivered to the State of Louisiana.
