The reimbursement is made at 90% federal cost-share and authorized under Section 406 of the Robert T. Stafford Act.\n\nHazard mitigation grants include:\n\n$1,620,000.00 to Calcasieu Parish for emergency generators at the Public Works East Building and Magnolia Building. The grant is made at 90% federal cost-share and authorized under Section 404 of the Robert T. Stafford Act, as amended by the Disaster Recovery Reform Act of 2018, and 44 CFR Part 206.434.\n\n$90,000 to Calcasieu Parish for management costs related to the acquisition of the emergency generators. The grant is made at 100% federal cost-share and authorized under Section 1215 of the Disaster Recovery Reform Act of 2018, which amended Section 324 of the Rober T. Stafford Act.\n\nMuch of our official Congressional work to advance recovery projects occurs behind the scenes. Funding finalization and the associated formal announcement of funding are the result of constant efforts over many months with FEMA and state and local stakeholders. All funding will be delivered to the State of Louisiana.
