As of May 2024, those children have yet to receive an immigration court date, while another 32,000 who did receive a court date never showed up for their hearings. The Biden-Harris administration has \u201clost track\u201d of over 200K illegal immigrant children, and Congress has been given no assurance that these children are safe from trafficking, exploitation, or forced labor.\n\nCongressman Higgins recently introduced H.R. 9654, the Stop Alien Children Trafficking Act, consistent with DHS OIG recommendations, to hold the Biden-Harris administration accountable. The bill embraces the reforms delineated in the report issued by DHS IG Joe Cuffari, who has himself been relentlessly targeted by the Biden/Harris/Mayorkas border disaster Executive Branch for investigating and reporting the extreme failures and criminal actions of the Mayorkas DHS.\n\n\u201cThe number of unaccompanied minors that have crossed our southern border under the Biden-Harris administration\u2019s watch is unconscionable,\u201d said Congressman Higgins. \u201cWe, as elected representatives, have an obligation to reveal full truth to the American people, and the White House has obstructed Congress at every turn. They\u2019re hiding the truth. It\u2019s abhorrent.
