In December 2024, Congressman Higgins sent a letter to incoming U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright calling for immediate action to overturn the Biden administration\u2019s LNG permitting moratorium. Congressman Higgins also asked Secretary Wright to expedite the review of pending applications, including Venture Global\u2019s CP2 project.
