This ends the “no collusion” mantra that we have heard daily out of Washington. We’ve seen indictment after indictment among President Trump’s top aides and now two guilty pleas. Former Trump Campaign Aide, George Papadopoulos, admitted that he too lied to federal investigators about meetings with Russia.
We do not know where this investigation will lead but it troubles me that the very person in charge of protecting our national security would lie to the FBI. This is beyond outrageous, and it begs the question, what else is the Trump administration hiding?”
Emanuel Cleaver, II is the U.S. Representative for Missouri’s Fifth Congressional District, which includes Kansas City, Independence, Lee’s Summit, Raytown, Grandview, Sugar Creek, Blue Springs, Grain Valley, Oak Grove, North Kansas City, Gladstone, Claycomo, and all of Ray, Lafayette, and Saline Counties.
