The bipartisan resolution underscores the important role that teachers play in preparing kids to be productive, responsible, and successful citizens, and encourages every American to demonstrate appreciation for the teachers in their life.\n\n\u201cWith numerous family members who have committed their life to education, I know very well the hard work and generosity it takes to be a teacher in today\u2019s world. There are countless teachers throughout Missouri who are dedicated to the education, development, and well-being of our children, providing them with the tools they need to lead our communities into the next generation,\u201d said Congressman Cleaver. \u201cDuring Teacher Appreciation Week, I\u2019m proud to join with my friend Rep.
