He enlisted at just 17 years old, serving in combat from the first day of World War II to the very last.\n\nOn Saturday, Congressman Clyde attended Habersham County\u2019s America 250 Celebration in Clarkesville. During the patriotic event, Rep. Clyde delivered remarks highlighting Captain Schubring\u2019s heroism and extraordinary service.
