While the GAO is preparing the report, there will be a temporary suspension of enforcement of new major rules, and those rules which are determined to hurt the economy will be rescinded. Further, any agency seeking to issue a replacement rule must first certify that the new rule will not result in a decline in GDP or an increase in inflation.\n\n\u201cPresident Biden\u2019s failed policies have unleashed economic turmoil \u2014 burdening Americans with soaring inflation, exacerbating our national debt, and hurling our economy toward a disastrous recession,\u201d said Clyde. \u201cWe must hold the White House accountable for recklessly and shamelessly wreaking havoc on our economy in order to advance Democrats\u2019 Big Government Socialist agenda.
