Two of the grants, from the National Cancer Institute, will fund projects supported by the 21st Century Cures Act, authorizing what\u2019s referred to as the Beau Biden Moonshot. Congressman Cohen voted for the legislation in 2016.\n\nA third NIH grant, from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, will support research on enhanced T-cell function.\n\nCongressman Cohen announced five NIH grants totaling $2,657,819 on Monday.\n\nCongressman Cohen made the following statement:\n\n\u201cI was pleased to support the 21st Century Cures Act and the research it authorizes and am glad to see some of that work is being done at St. Jude, our premiere children\u2019s cancer hospital.
