The congressman announced three grants from the National Cancer Institute to St. Jude, totaling $1,172,297, on Monday and six grants from three other National Institutes, totaling $2,843,327 on Wednesday.\n\nSt. Jude has received $6,898,045 in NIH grants this week.\n\nThe grants announced today include two from the National Cancer Institute, one from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, one from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, and one from the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute.\n\nCongressman Cohen made the following statement:\n\n\u201cThis has been an excellent week for St. Jude scientists.
