Congressman Comer led efforts in Congress to secure funding for the Trigg County Hospital Emergency Building Project, aimed at replacing the county’s outdated and undersized Emergency Ambulance Building and ensuring adequate facilities for its expanding team of first responders.

“I’m proud to have worked alongside local leaders in Trigg County to secure funding in Congress for the Trigg County Hospital Emergency Building Project. For too long, Trigg County’s first responders have operated out of an aging facility that is struggling to meet the needs of our growing community. This investment is a major step forward for our local medical services and will provide the modern space and tools they need to respond quickly and effectively when lives are on the line. I will continue working in Congress to support our local hospitals and first responders, so they have the resources necessary to keep Kentuckians safe and healthy,” said Congressman Comer.

“Thank you to Congressman Comer for his efforts in securing a grant for Trigg County Hospital to receive a new ambulance building. This project will be a tremendous benefit to Trigg County, Land Between the Lakes, and the surrounding lake area. We greatly appreciate his continued support and dedication to improving healthcare services in the Commonwealth of Kentucky,” said John Sumner, Chief Executive Officer of Trigg County Hospital.

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Congressman Comer for helping secure this Ambulance Building grant for Trigg County. This grant opportunity will ensure our technicians and paramedics are well taken care of while serving the citizens of Trigg County and its visitors. This funding will allow us to ensure our facilities are as good as any location across the Commonwealth,” said Stan Humphries, Trigg County Judge Executive.

Background:", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-06T19:52:45Z
url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at
url
https://comer.house.gov/2025/11/comer-secures-3-million-in-funding-for-trigg-county-hospital-emergency-ambulance-building-project
