Both bills have garnered support from Republicans and Democrats.\n\n\u201cThe fight to combat the fentanyl crisis is going to take all hands on deck,\u201d said Rep. Craig.\u201cI\u2019m grateful to count my fellow New Dems as partners in that fight \u2013 and I\u2019ll keep working to make sure every Minnesotan has access to the support, tools and education they need to keep themselves and their families safe and well.\u201d\n\nThe bipartisan RECONNECTIONS Act would help expand the CDC\u2019s overdose prevention efforts \u2013 like bolstering prescription drug monitoring programs, promoting and evaluating community and health system interventions and conducting research on controlled substance overdoses.
