Craig\u2019s amendment to the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2024 has 49 cosponsors.\n\nThe amendment would block Republican-led provisions to allow discrimination against LGBTQI+ people, ban the display of Pride flags at government facilities, block gender affirming care, undermine Title IX protections for women and LGBTQI+ people and more.\n\n\u201cMAGA Republicans are pushing a dangerous agenda that is not only anti-LGBTQI+, it\u2019s anti-American,\u201d said Rep. Craig. \u201cAs the first out-lesbian mother elected to Congress, I\u2019m proud to lead this charge and stand up for LGBTQI+ Americans and I strongly urge my Republican colleagues to reject this culture-war extremism and get back to the work of the American people.\u201d\n\nRep.
