Scheduled to begin construction in early 2027, this project will fully reconstruct a critical section of airfield pavement to ensure continued safe and reliable operations. The scope includes upgrades to meet current FAA design standards, pavement strengthening to accommodate future aircraft demand, and improvements to airfield drainage systems.\n\n\"Our Colorado Springs Airport is a hub for travelers all over the globe,\u201d said Rep.
